• U-M opens Big Ten play with Ohio State after finishing fourth in the Big Ten last season with a 3-3 overall record.
• Junior Jill Smith became the fifth Wolverine in program history to score 100 career goals with her three goals against No. 13 Colorado (March 2). Smith is just 24 goals away from tying Kim Coughlan for the most goals (124) in U-M women's lacrosse history.
• With her 10 draw-control wins against No. 19 Colorado, Lily Montemarano eclipsed 100 career draw-control wins and now has 101 in her career. Her 10 wins against the Buffaloes also tied a Michigan single-game best.
• Michigan will honor its 10 seniors -- Caroline Bean, Annabelle Burke, Meryl Johnson, Caroline Davis, Maddie Burns, Ava Class, Lily Montemarano, Shaylah Marciano, Maya Santa-Maria and Josie Gooch -- following the Saturday's contest against Central Michigan. The 2024 senior class helped Michigan to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and an 8-1 home record in 2023.
• The Wolverines earned it biggest win in program history when it topped then-No. 4 Denver 8-4 in their home opener. It marked just the second time in program history Michigan has defeated a top-five program, with the first coming in 2022 against then-No. 5 Notre Dame.
