Emma Way, Sam Swenson (Nov. 1)
Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week -- Sophomore Emma Way posted her first multi-goal game, netting two of the Wolverines' four goals against No. 7 Louisville in their regular-season finale last Saturday (Oct. 29). She broke open a three-goal second half with a redirection goal at the 43:40 mark and, after the Cardinals scored late, responded with another at the 67:08 mark. Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior goalkeeper Sam Swenson posted six saves, including four in the first half, in U-M's win against No. 7 Louisville. She held the Cardinals scoreless until the 64:08 mark when they spoiled the shutout bid with a late goal. It is her third Big Ten weekly honor this season. » Big Ten Release
Meg Dowthwaite (Oct. 25)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Freshman Meg Dowthwaite netted her second straight Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolade after scoring the overtime game-winner in U-M's 3-2 decision over No. 10 Northwestern last Friday (Oct. 21). She assisted on the Wolverines' tying goal at the end of the first half before using a penalty-corner redirection to end the game at the 76:48 mark. » Big Ten Release
Meg Dowthwaite (Oct. 18)
Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week -- Freshman Meg Dowthwaite scored the game-winning goal in Michigan's 2-1 overtime victory against No. 16 Iowa, sending a reverse chip to the top shelf at the 82:29 mark. It is her fourth goal of the season and first collegiate game-winner. She shares the honor with Iowa's Sophie Sunderland. » Big Ten Release
Sam Swenson (Sept. 6)
Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior goalkeeper Sam Swenson allowed just one goal through 133:14 of action over U-M's west-coast road trip to No. 11 Stanford and California (Sept. 2-4). She earned four saves against the Cardinal and combined for the shutout win vs. Cal. » Big Ten Release

Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior goalkeeper Sam Swenson posted a .778 save percentage and 1.00 goals-against average at the season-opening ACC/Big Ten Challenge (Aug. 27-28).
