Class Selected by NY Charging in First-Ever WLL Collegiate Draft

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Graduate student Ava Class of the University of Michigan women's lacrosse team was selected 12th overall by the New York Charging in the first-ever Women's Lacrosse League Collegiate Draft on Wednesday night (April 15).
Class joins former Michigan players Kaylee Dyer and Maddie Burns, who both play for the Boston Guard, and Jill Smith, who plays for the California Palms.
Class became just the 10th player in Michigan history to record 100 career points, ranking second this season with 42 points (21 goals, 21 assists). The Hunt Valley, Md., native is an IL Women Nike Third Team Midseason All-American and has played in and started 13 games this season. In her career, Class has 65 goals and 35 assists.
