
Two Wolverines Named to Big Ten All-Tournament Team

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan baseball team secured two spots on the Big Ten All-Tournament team with Tito Flores earning an outfield spot and Mitch Voit earning a spot at designated hitter, the conference announced Monday (May 29).
Flores went 6-for-18 in four games and had three extra-base hits, leading the Wolverines. He was just one of three Wolverines with a home run in the tournament and just one of 11 players to hit a home run. He led the conference in total bases with 12.
Voit went 6-for-13 in the tournament and added two extra-base hits including his first career triple. Among players with more than 10 at-bats, Voit led the tournament in batting average at .462. He had a four-hit game on Friday (May 26) while earning his first start on the mound. Voit pitched 5.2 innings and allowed just two earned runs and added five strikeouts.
