Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week -- Senior Guadalupe Fernandez Lacort had a hand in three of the Wolverines' four goals over the weekend, scoring the lone and game-winning goal in U-M's 1-0 win against No. 2 Maryland on Friday before adding two assists in its 3-1 win against Penn State. It is the first Big Ten weekly honor of Fernandez Lacort's career. » Big Ten Release
Emma Tamer (Oct. 21)
Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior/sophomore Emma Tamer posted her second multi-goal effort in three games with two penalty-corner markers in U-M's 3-1 win against Penn State. As a back, she also contributed to the Wolverines' shutout win against No. 2 Maryland. It is Tamer's first ever Big Ten weekly accolade. » Big Ten Release
Sofia Southam (Oct. 7)
Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week -- Sophomore Sofia Southam contributed to half of the Wolverines' eight goals against in-state rival Michigan State last Sunday (Oct. 6), posting three goals and an assist. It was her first collegiate hat trick and multi-goal game. » Big Ten Release
Meg Dothwaite, Guadalupe Fernandez Lacort and sophomore Anna Spieker (Aug. 27)
Big Ten Players to Watch -- Wolverine seniors Meg Dowthwaite and Guadalupe Fernandez Lacort and sophomore Anna Spieker were named to the 2019 Big Ten Players to Watch list. Dowthwaite and Fernandez Lacort are National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Americans; Dowthwaite earned second-team honors after scoring 19 goals in 2017, while Fernandez Lacort garnered third-team distinction last season. Spieker was Michigan's starting goalkeeper as a freshman last year, helping backstop the Wolverines to a Big Ten regular-season title. » Big Ten Release
