
Wolverines Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's lacrosse team was one of 85 Division I programs to earn Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad accolades, the organization announced on Monday (Aug. 17).
The Wolverines' roster of 23 sophomores and 12 freshmen collectively garnered the recognition for carrying better than a 3.0 grade-point average for the 2014-15 academic year.
Under the direction of second-year head coach Jennifer Ulehla, the Maize and Blue went 5-12 in its second season as a varsity program. Individually, 12 Wolverines earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, while three received Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recognition.
