Holody Awarded Great Lakes Third Team Honor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. --- Junior co-captain Michael Holody(Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) of the University of Michigan men's soccer team was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division I Great Lakes Region Third Team Thursday (Dec. 13).
Holody finished the season with four goals and two assists. He received many accolades for his play during the season, including a nomination to Top Drawer Soccer's team of the week on Sept. 9. He was named to the Cal State Fullerton All-Tournament Team and the Michigan Invitational All-Tournament Team. Holody was the lone Wolverine to earn Big Ten All-Tournament team honors and was also named to the All-Big Ten second team. He capped off his postseason honors when he was named Academic All-Big Ten Wednesday (Dec. 5).
Michigan finished the season with a 10-7-2 record.
