U-M to Travel to Los Angeles to Take On UCLA

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team (2-2-1, 0-1-0 Big Ten) will continue its conference schedule on the road when it takes on UCLA (3-1-2, 0-1-0 Big Ten) on Friday (Sept. 18) at 7 p.m. PT at Wallis Annenberg Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif. The match will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan continues Big Ten play with a 2-2-1 record, most recently falling 1-0 to No. 5 Indiana in its conference opener on Sept. 11.
• The Wolverines put together a strong defensive performance against Indiana, limiting the fifth-ranked Hoosiers to just three shots on goal.
• Senior Joao Paulo Ramos nearly opened the scoring against Indiana, sending a free kick from outside the box toward the upper-right corner before the Indiana goalkeeper sent it away.
• Two Wolverines have received Big Ten weekly awards, with Grayson Elmquist named the Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 1) and Alen Bean named the Goalkeeper of the Week (Aug. 25).
• Ten Wolverines recorded at least one point through five matches, led by Elmquist with seven.
• Michigan and UCLA will meet for the fifth time, with this season's matchup marking the third year the two teams have faced each other as Big Ten opponents. The all-time series is knotted at 1-1-2.
• The Wolverines defeated UCLA in their previous regular-season matchup, winning 3-0 in 2025.
• Following the match against UCLA, the Wolverines will head to Evanston, Ill., to continue Big Ten play against Northwestern on Friday, Sept. 25.
