Notes
• The Wolverines' contest against Xavier on Saturday (Aug. 22) was ruled a no-contest after weather conditions halted play about 15 minutes into the second half and did not relent.
• U-M tallied six goals over the weekend, with Brooklyn Marn, Elle Ervin and Ella Jablinskey among the goal scorers. Statistics from the no-contest do not count toward the Wolverines' official season totals.
• Freshman Melisa Kekic recorded a hat trick against Xavier, though the statistics do not apply to her season totals.
• Notre Dame enters Thursday's matchup with a 1-0-3 record, earning its first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Murray State.
• Michigan holds a 5-14-1 record against Notre Dame, with its most recent win coming in South Bend in 2023. Head coach Dave DiIanni is 1-0 against the Fighting Irish, earning a 3-2 win in 2019.
• Bowling Green opened the season with back-to-back wins over Robert Morris and Oakland before playing Cincinnati to a draw.
• The Maize and Blue last faced BGSU in 2021, earning a 3-0 victory to improve to 5-0 all-time against the Falcons.
• Michigan will return to U-M Soccer Stadium next week for a 7 p.m. matchup against Georgia Southern on Thursday (Sept. 3), when the Wolverines will celebrate Senior Day.
