Notes
• Michigan holds a 1-0 record against Youngstown State, having defeated the Penguins, 1-0, in the lone meeting back in 2010.
• Gabrielle Prych is on pace for a career year, having already logged four goals through six contests in 2025. Her previous best scoring mark was five goals set back in 2023 when she played more than 1,000 minutes in 16 games.
• Prych and Elle Ervin have accounted for seven of Michigan's eight goals in the first six outings. Sophomore Adi Walick has also added assists on four out of eight scores.
• Despite ranking seventh on the team in minutes, Ervin has jolted the U-M offense to life with a team-high 15 shots and six shots on goal.
• Michigan's daunting schedule has the Wolverines set to face nine programs that competed in last season's NCAA Tournament -- including their last four opponents.
• Youngstown State enters Sunday's matchup with a 1-5 record, dropping all five of its contests on the road this season.Â
• U-M kicks off Big Ten play on Friday (Sept. 12) with a 7 p.m. road matchup against Ohio State at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
