
U-M to Head East for Showdown with No. 12 Harvard

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 20-ranked University of Michigan men's lacrosse team (4-2) will hit the road for a Saturday (March 8) contest against No. 12 Harvard (3-1) at noon at Jordan Field. The contest will air on ESPN+.
Notes
• Michigan ranks 20th in the USILA Poll in week six of the season and will take on its third ranked opponent of the season in No. 12 Harvard.
• Senior Ryan Cohen became just the third Wolverine to eclipse 200 career points, joining Michael Boehm and Josh Zawada. The senior attack currently sits at 204 career points after scoring two goals and adding an assist against Cleveland State. Cohen is also just one goal away from 100 career goals and would become the second player in Michigan lacrosse history to accomplish the feat, joining Boehm, who recorded 133 career goals and 104 career assists. For his efforts, Cohen has been named to the 2025 Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
• The Wolverine trio of Cohen, Jack Jenkins and Aidan Mulholland currently rank in the top 10 in the Big Ten Conference in points. Cohen leads the conference with 23 points, while Jenkins ranks sixth with 20 points and Mulholland ranks 10th with 16. Furthermore, Cohen leads the conference in assists with 14 and Jenkins ranks third with 10 assists, while Bo Lockwood ranks 10th with six.
• The U-M backline has given up just eight goals in three games at U-M Lacrosse Stadium and has allowed only three goals in the second half of action. In its latest outing against Cleveland State, Michigan allowed just 23 shots with 10 shots on frame. Graduate student Pace Billings led the back line with eight ground balls and two caused turnovers, while Mason Whitney had five ground balls and one caused turnover. Billings and Whitney currently tie for eighth in the Big Ten Conference with eight caused turnovers, while Billings ranks sixth with 23 ground balls and Whitney ranks eighth with 18.
• Sophomore Nick Roode stepped up in a big way against Cleveland State as he tallied a career-best six points with a career-high five goals. The Peterborough, Ontario native also added two ground balls and one caused turnover to his stat line against the Vikings.
• Michigan had a quick-paced offense against Cleveland State as it scored a season-high 19 goals with tallies for 13 different student-athletes and 16 total point contributors. The Wolverines scored three goals in 32 seconds in the third quarter against CSU and had two goals in less than a minute in both the second and fourth quarters to lock up the midweek non-conference win.
• Head coach Kevin Conry is in his eighth season at the helm of the Michigan program and returns both Jim Rogalski and Scott Bieda as assistant coaches, while adding Jared McMahon as his third assistant for the 2025 campaign. Conry has brought the U-M program to new heights, winning back-to-back Big Ten Tournament championships in 2023 and 2024 as well as making two straight NCAA Tournament appearances and having the first All-American citations in the history of the program.
• Michigan returns to U-M Lacrosse Stadium on Saturday (March 15) when it hosts No. 2 Notre Dame at 1 p.m.
