ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team (0-5-0) wraps up the non-conference portion of its season this week, heading to Iowa State (2-2-1) on Thursday (Sept. 5) at 6 p.m. CDT and hosting Alabama (5-1-0) on Sunday (Sept. 8) at 1 p.m. as part of Alumni Day. Sunday's match will be streamed live on B1G+.

• Michigan wraps up the non-conference portion of its season this week, heading to Iowa State (2-2-1) on Thursday (Sept. 5) before hosting Alabama (5-1-0) on Sunday (Sept. 8) at 1 p.m.
• U-M will be welcoming back its alumni during Sunday's contest against Alabama. They will be recognized at halftime.
• Michigan and Iowa State are meeting for the third time in program history, with each team sporting one victory. U-M won the inaugural meeting in 2003, a 4-2 victory. Iowa State returned the favor with a 3-2 win at U-M Soccer Stadium in 2022.
• U-M and Alabama are squaring off for the second time, with Michigan recording a 2-1 win in the 1999 Big Ten/SEC Challenge.
• Jenna Lang scored her second goal of the season in Michigan's 2-1 loss to Ball State on Sunday (Sept. 1), giving her four points on the season. Kali Burrell assisted on the goal, recording the eighth point of her career and first of the season.
• Tamia Tolbert earned her first start of the season in Michigan's contest against Notre Dame (Aug. 29) and has started each of U-M's last two games.
• Avery Kalitta has started 47 consecutive games in the midfield for U-M. She started the final six games of her freshman season (2021) to kick off the streak, starting in every contest in 2022 and 2023. She is one of three Wolverines, joining Stephanie Sparkowski and Lang, to start all five games this season.
• Michigan kicks off Big Ten action next week (Sept. 12) with a contest at Penn State.
