
Weather Forces Cancellation of Tuesday's Game Against Akron

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan baseball team has canceled its scheduled game on Tuesday (April 7) against Akron due to inclement weather that hit the area Sunday night and is expected to continue throughout the next two days. No make-up date for the game has been set. The Wolverines and Zips would have been meeting for the first time in school history.
U-M is in the middle of a 12-game homestand that began March 31st and a span of 17 home games in a 31-day period.
Michigan is scheduled to host Central Michigan on Wednesday (April 8) at the Wilpon Baseball Complex. First pitch against the Chippewas is set for 6:05 p.m. and can be heard live via MGoBlue.com.
