Hurricane Isabel Postpones Michigan-Maryland Contest

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan's field hockey match against the University of Maryland, scheduled for Friday (Sept. 19) at 8 p.m., has been postponed due to the scheduled arrival of Hurricane Isabel in the College Park, Md., area, Maryland officials announced today (Tuesday, Sept. 16).
The match has been rescheduled for noon Saturday (Sept. 20) at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex on the campus of the University of Maryland. Michigan (4-2) is ranked No. 6 in the latest NFHCA poll, while Maryland (6-0) is No. 3.
