After the final buzzer, youngsters will have a chance to take the field and visit with their favorite Wolverine field hockey players and coaches to receive autographs and field hockey tips on Ocker Field. It is the last regular-season home game of the season for departing seniors Jocelyn LaFace (Rossland, B.C./Rossland Secondary), Ashley Reichenbach (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra HS) and Erica Widder (Lititz, Pa./Warwick HS).
Fans will also have a chance to meet Wolverine coaches and Olympic athletes Marcia Pankratz, Tracey Fuchs and Peggy Storrar, as well as local coaching legend Nancy Cox.
Michigan enters the week with a 13-5 overall record (6-2 in Big Ten Conference play) and is tied with Penn State for second place in the conference standings behind 8-1 Iowa. The Wolverines are making a strong push to qualify for their first NCAA Tournament bid in school history.
