U-M to Return Home to Face Oakland on Senior Night

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team (2-3-2, 0-2-1 Big Ten) will return to Ann Arbor to take on Oakland on Tuesday (Sept. 29) at 7 p.m. at U-M Soccer Stadium. The match will serve as Senior Night and will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan will play its first home match since Sept. 11 against Indiana. The Wolverines own a 2-1-1 record at U-M Soccer Stadium this season.
• Prior to the match, Michigan will recognize 11 seniors and graduate students for their contributions to the program.
• Alen Bean has made every start in goal for the Wolverines this season, making 16 saves in seven appearances.
• Joao Paulo Ramos leads the team with three assists and is one of six Wolverines with at least one goal.
• Grayson Elmquist leads the team with seven points and returned to the lineup against Northwestern after missing the UCLA match.
• U-M ranks in the top half of the Big Ten in goals allowed and has allowed one goal or fewer in three of four home matches.
• Michigan and Oakland will meet for the 25th time in program history, with the Wolverines leading the all-time series 15-3-6.
• The Wolverines defeated the Golden Grizzlies 2-1 the last time the teams met in Ann Arbor in 2024.
• Following the match against Oakland, Michigan will close out its non-conference slate against Portland on Sunday (Oct. 4) at 2 p.m. at U-M Soccer Stadium.
