ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan baseball team announced Wednesday (June 24) its 2027 conference schedule, which includes the Wolverines hosting five conference series at the Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium, with another five on the road.
The Big Ten schedule opens on March 12-14, as Michigan faces USC in Los Angeles, Calif., for a three-game series before hosting Minnesota, March 19-21, for the first weekend series at home.
After a weekend off from Big Ten play, U-M hosts Purdue before back-to-back road weekends in Columbus, Ohio, and Champaign, Ill. The Wolverines will then host 2026 Big Ten champion UCLA, April 23-25, before a rivalry clash against Michigan State in Ann Arbor from April 30-May 2. U-M's final two road trips see them travel to Nebraska and Penn State before closing out the regular season hosting Iowa from May 20-22.
Michigan finished the 2026 season with a 34-24 overall record and a 17-13 conference record, good for seventh in the Big Ten. Next season will be the fifth under head coach Tracy Smith, who holds a 127-103 record at Michigan, including 60 conference wins.
