Voit Selected to D1Baseball All-America Third Team

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan junior second baseman Mitch Voit was named Thursday (June 26) to the D1Baseball All-America third team.
Voit played in every contest for the Wolverines this season at second base, totaling 208 at-bats and a .346/.471/.668 slash line. He directly contributed to 113 runs, scoring 53 and bringing home a team-leading 60. He tallied 35 extra-base hits, including 14 home runs. Voit was also strong defensively, with 38 double plays and just four errors in 296 chances.
He earned All-Big Ten first team and All-Big Ten Defensive Team honors last month as well as ABCA All-Region Honors, and was named a Perfect Game All-American.
Voit becomes just the third player named to a D1Baseball All-America team and the first player since Jordan Brewer and Karl Kauffmann in 2019.
