
Cassiday, Miller Earn CSC Academic All-District Team Honors

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Nicholas Cassiday and Nolan Miller of the University of Michigan men's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday (Nov. 25).
To receive the award, student-athletes must be a sophomore academically and maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
Cassiday is a senior pursuing a degree in business administration. He was honored as Michigan's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree and played in all 20 matches with 17 starts. The midfielder tallied nine points with two goals and a team-high five assists.
Miller is also pursuing a degree in business administration. Named a Big Ten Player to Watch in the preseason, Miller started all 20 games this season and has served as co-captain and leader of the defense for the Maize and Blue. He has scored twice and added two assists in an impressive final season at Michigan.
