
Wolverines to Travel to Face No. 15 Maryland, Ohio State

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Fresh off completing a three-match homestand, the No. 13-ranked University of Michigan men's soccer team (6-1-3, 2-1-1 Big Ten) heads back on the road for two Big Ten clashes. The Wolverines will face No. 15-ranked Maryland (6-0-3, 2-0-2 Big Ten) on Friday (Oct. 10) at 7:30 p.m. at Ludwig Field, before traveling to rival Ohio State (5-5-0, 2-2-0 Big Ten) on Tuesday (Oct. 14) at 6 p.m. at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The match against Maryland will stream live on B1G+, while the contest with Ohio State will air on Big Ten Network.

• Michigan is coming off an unbeaten homestand that included a 6-0 victory over Chicago State (Oct. 1) and a 0-0 draw against Rutgers (Oct. 5).
• The six goals against Chicago State were the most scored by a Michigan side since 2003, when the Wolverines defeated St. Peter's 6-2. U-M's 31 shot attempts were its most since 2010 against UCF.
• Six different Wolverines scored in the win over Chicago State, including Quin Rogers, who notched his team-leading fourth goal of the season.
• Dylan Davis registered two assists in Wednesday's match, tying him for the team lead (three) with Matthew Fisher, who also recorded an assist in the contest.
• Goalkeeper Isaiah Goldson posted clean sheets in both of last week's matches, bringing his season total to five.
• Shuma Sasaki attempted six shots against Rutgers, including four on goal — the most in a single match by a Wolverine this season.
• Michigan will look to even the all-time series against Maryland, which it currently trails 5-6-3. The Wolverines upset the No. 2-ranked Terrapins, 2-0, in their last meeting in Ann Arbor.
• U-M will seek its first win in Columbus since 2019, a 2-0 victory. The Wolverines are 1-4-2 in the series since that result.
• Following the road trip, Michigan will begin a four-game homestand, starting with a matchup against UCLA on Thursday (Oct. 17) at 6 p.m.
