• Friday's matchup will be the final collegiate game for seniors Brent Noseworthy, Nick DeCaprio, Decker Curran, Brandon Shima, MJ Melillo, Ben Paris, Justin Gibbons, Rocco Sutherland, Michael Borda, Patrick Tracy, Gunner Garn, Peter Hollen and graduate student Tommy Heidt.
• Senior Nick DeCaprio ranks second in the U-M record books for caused turnovers in a career with 64, trailing Chase Brown (2013-16) with 66. The U-M defense ranks No. 20 in the country in caused turnovers with 9.25 per game.
• Sophomore Alex Buckanavage leads U-M in points (43) and points per game (3.58). His points-per-game average ranks sixth in the Big Ten while his 43 points are five shy of U-M's single-season record of 48, held by teammate Brent Noseworthy.
• U-M has played the 21st-toughest schedule in the nation, according to LaxBytes.com, in part due to the combined record of its Big Ten Conference opponents being 43-19.
• With a rash of injuries at the faceoff position, Michigan has gone 64-of-215 (30 percent) at the dot over the last seven games. U-M has utilized six different players at the dot over that span. U-M is 2-1 in contests this season when winning the faceoff battle.
• The U-M offense has accounted for 82 goals over the past six games despite its struggles at the 'X'. Michigan is scoring 1.16 goals per faceoff won and is the only Big Ten team that has more goals (135) than faceoff wins (116) on the season.
• Brent Noseworthy has scored at least a point in 43 of 45 games he has played in his U-M career after his streak of 35 straight games with at least a point was snapped against Penn State (April 13). Over his career, Noseworthy has scored 99 goals and collected 17 assists for 116 points, which rank No. 2 all-time in the U-M record books. With one goal Friday, he will become the first Wolverine in program history score 100 goals.
• Sophomore Kevin Mack ranks second on the team with 36 points (18 goals, 18 assists). He has scored a point in 25 consecutive games, and has a point in all but one of his contests as a Wolverine.
