Graduate student Esther de Leijer, senior Sam Swenson and senior Katie Trombetta were selected to the Big Ten Preseason Honors List. Trombetta, who earned NFHCA All-America third team honors last season, has been the Wolverines' field general and an anchor of the defensive unit -- splitting time at center back and center mid -- over the last three seasons. Over her tenure, Michigan has held opposing teams to just 1.3 goals per game, 8.5 shots per game and 4.9 corners per game. As a primary corner striker, she also owns 11 career goals, including give game-winners, and five career assists.
