• Michigan lost 1-0 for the third time this season. The Maize and Blue lost 1-0 at Houston on Feb. 22 and 1-0 at Illinois on April 11.
• Michigan had a season high in attendance (1,012) in tonight's game.
• There was a 21-minute rain delay in the bottom of the first inning, the second straight game for U-M with a delay due to weather.
• Trent Szkutnik pitched a career high 8.2 innings. Szkutnik struck out six, which ties a season high. He also had six punchouts at Purdue on April 19.
• Cole Martin has now reached base in 17 straight games. Martin singled in the second and fourth innings.
• Martin also has 10 multi-hit performances this season.
• Michigan ends the Big Ten schedule going 1-7 in series-opening games.
