• Michigan has dropped six of seven series openers in Big Ten play.

• James Bourque pitched a season-high 5.1 innings, allowing just one hit while striking out two. He lowered his earned-run average to 3.27.

• Jackson Glines picked up his team-leading 31st run batted in in the second inning Friday.
