Arnone Invited to 2015 adidas MLS Player Combine

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Senior Tyler Arnone of the University of Michigan men's soccer team has been selected to take part in the 2015 adidas MLS Player Combine, to be held Jan. 8-13 at Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Arnone becomes the 10th Michigan player to participate in the MLS pre-draft combine and third in the last three seasons -- Kofi Opare (2013) and Fabio Pereira (2014).
Arnone wrapped up his stellar U-M career in 2014, earning second team All-Big Ten honors after receiving first team honors the previous two seasons. He joined Knox Cameron (2003), Peri Merosevic (2008) and Mychal Turpin (2004) as the others in the category of Wolverines that have earned All-Big Ten honors in three different seasons.
The 2013 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year finished his U-M career ranked No. 8 in program history in assists (14), No. 9 in shots attempted (145), No. 5 in matches started (75) and No. 4 in minutes played (6,621).
In total, 55 players were invited to the combine, including six players from the Big Ten Conference.
The 2015 MLS SuperDraft will be help for the 10th consecutive year in conjunction with the National Soccer Coaches of American (NSCAA) Convention and will take place on Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott in Philadelphia. The draft, which comprises of four rounds and 82 overall selections, will commence at noon.
