Each week, we will give fans an inside look at the Michigan volleyball program with the At the Net blogs. This week, junior Kelly Murphy talks about the team's academic challenge and adds a lookalike that Ally Davis missed last week.
It has been quite a busy week for Michigan Volleyball! It was crazy because we had Friday and Saturday home matches and then had to turn around and travel to Wisconsin for a midweek game on Wednesday. After a tough loss we headed back to Ann Arbor to get back in the gym and improve our game. After two days of great practices we are ready for our Saturday match against Ohio State.
Volleyball isn't the only thing our team has been up to. Michigan Volleyball has an academic challenge each year during the season. This helps keep us motivated in the classroom, since we are just (ahem) a tad bit competitive. This year we have three teams. Olivia's team consists of Krystalyn, Ally, CK and Claire. Cindy's team is Carly, Gabbie, Tiffany and Lindsey. And my team is Abby, Adeja, Lexi and Katherine. The team with the highest cumulative GPA at the end of the semester wins. The new rankings come out Monday and I'm pretty confident my team will be in the lead.
With only a few games left in the Big Ten we hope to see you all at Cliff Keen! Go Blue!
And for your viewing entertainment a special jib jab video and a side by side of Ally Davis since she forgot to include herself last week! Ally and her rocker twin Brett Michaels!
