• Michigan to Play Host to No. 4 Wisconsin Friday, Minnesota Saturday
Each week, we will give fans an inside look at the Michigan volleyball program with the At the Net blogs. This week, junior Ally Davis shows you what she's been doing on the bench after her surgery.
After a hard fought weekend here at home against Northwestern and Illinois, we hit the gym running to prepare for our tough upcoming weekend. This weekend we play Wisconsin and Minnesota, both are two very great teams. After watching the team have really great practices this week, I have a good feeling about this weekend!
In the previous sentence you may have noticed the word "watching" -- which is something that my teammate Kelly Murphy and I have been doing a lot of recently. In the past month, we both have had surgery, and are currently on the road to recovery! Right now it is a bit of a slow process on the rehab side because surgery was so recent. Every day at practice we come in and do what we can, but spend most of our practice time watching the team practice. Although this is not ideal, and at times can be pretty tough, naturally I find ways to keep myself laughing.
If you know me, you know that I am always having a good time, whether that is on the court practicing or in the bleachers icing my knee and watching the team compete in refuse to lose (my favorite drill)! So over the past weeks I have been watching my teammates closely to see what type of animal, object, or celebrity they resemble. Wait no longer, I now share with you a few of my favorite discoveries!

If you thought I was done, you underestimated the amount of time that I have had to myself! Of course I have done the coaches! Now I share with you, Skylar Lopas and this Q-tip:
If you see me chuckling to myself, now you know why. It really makes watching them practice quite hilarious! I hope to see you all at Cliff Keen this weekend not only to watch your favorite Wolverines take on the Badgers and the Gophers, but also for a good laugh as you picture the images I just put in your head into action! If that doesn't make you want to come to Cliff Keen this weekend, then I don't know what will!
