Wolverines to Play Michigan State at Comerica Park

DETROIT, Mich. -- The University of Michigan baseball program will play at Comerica Park, the home of the Detroit Tigers, for the first time in program history as the Maize and Blue will face in-state rival Michigan State on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at 6:35 p.m., it was announced this afternoon (Tuesday, Nov. 11).
This is the only meeting between the Wolverines and Spartans during the regular season. Michigan is no stranger to playing in Major League Baseball ballparks. Two years ago, U-M played at Wrigley Field (home of the Chicago Cubs), Citi Field (home of the New York Mets) and Target Field (home of the Minnesota Twins). The Big Ten Tournament returns to Target Field in 2015.
Ticket prices and availability will be announced at a later date.
The Wolverines will open the 2015 season on Friday, Feb. 13, at Long Beach State. First pitch at Blair Field is scheduled for 6 p.m. PST.
