ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Junior/sophomore goalkeeper Haley Kopmeyer (Troy, Mich./Lahser) of the University of Michigan women's soccer team was named to College Soccer 360's Primetime Performer of the Week team, the website announced Tuesday (Oct. 26). Kopmeyer allowed one goal on 13 shots in 217-plus minutes of work.
The Wolverine netminder collected her 10th career shutout on Friday (Oct. 22) when Michigan upset No. 23-ranked Minnesota, 1-0, in the 110th minute. Kopmeyer was stellar in the net, making seven stops to help U-M to its fourth road win over a ranked foe in program history. She came to within two minutes of a second consecutive shutout against Wisconsin on Sunday (Oct. 24), making five stops before the Badgers were able to sneak one past in the 109th minute.
Kopmeyer is 8-3-4 on the season with a 0.76 goals-against average and a .826 save percentage. A starter in every game this season, Kopmeyer has collected four shutouts of her own and played the bulk of time in a pair of combined blankings.
The Wolverines return home this weekend to take on Iowa on Friday (Oct. 29) at 7 p.m. before sending off the senior class against Illinois on Sunday (Oct. 31) at 3 p.m.
