
Wolverines to Continue Big Ten Road Slate at Indiana

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Big Ten action continues on the road for the University of Michigan women's soccer team (4-3-3, 2-3-0 Big Ten) as the Wolverines travel to Indiana (4-6-1, 1-4-0 Big Ten) on Sunday (Oct. 4) at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. The match is scheduled for noon and will air on Big Ten Network.
Notes
• Freshman Anabelle Egeland has made an impact for the Wolverines, playing the full 90 minutes in each of Michigan's last two home matches. Egeland helped the U-M defense hold then-No. 18 Washington to just three shots on goal.
• Ella Jablinskey leads the Wolverines with four goals this season and has also recorded a team-high 31 shots.
• Michigan is averaging 1.30 goals per game while allowing 0.80 goals per game.
• Adi Walick ranks second on the team with seven points on three goals and one assist. Walick has also posted a .700 shots-on-goal percentage.
• The Wolverines have faced the fourth-toughest schedule in the nation according to NCAA statistics, including matchups against three ranked teams this season.
• U-M holds an 18-7-5 all-time record against Indiana, including a 9-5-1 mark at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Indiana enters Sunday's matchup on a four-game losing streak under second-year head coach Josh Rife.
• Following the Indiana matchup, the Wolverines will remain in the state to face Purdue on Thursday (Oct. 8) at 7 p.m.
• Michigan will return to Ann Arbor on Sunday (Oct. 11) for Pups at the Pitch, welcoming No. 20 Wisconsin for a 1 p.m. matchup.
