Wolverines to Face Ontario Blue Jays in October Exhibition

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan baseball head coach Rich Maloney announced today (Monday, Sept. 14) that the Wolverines will host the Ontario Blue Jays in an exhibition contest on Monday, Oct. 5, at the Wilpon Baseball Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium. The Blue Jays are based in Ontario, Canada, and are a high-level summer baseball program which competes in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO).
"We are extremely excited to take the field against a high level club like the Ontario Blue Jays," stated Maloney. "This will be a great opportunity for us to get our team out there and compete for the fans who want to get a sneak peek at the 2010 Wolverines. We are looking forward to seeing our team in action."
First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. and admission is free.
