Start of Michigan's Series at Iowa Delayed by Weather

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Due to poor weather conditions the start of the University of Michigan's Big Ten Conference-opening baseball series at Iowa has been pushed back a day.
The Wolverines (8-9) will open the conference season against the host Hawkeyes (6-6) with a single nine-inning game at Duane Banks Baseball Stadium on Saturday (March 29) at 2 p.m. CST. The four-game series will continue Sunday (March 30, 1 p.m. CST) with a doubleheader (two seven-inning games) and will conclude Monday (March 31, 1 p.m.) with a nine-inning single game. The original schedule had the teams playing March 28-30.
The next home action for Michigan is Wednesday (April 2, 3 p.m.) when the Wolverines will host Eastern Michigan. U-M opens the home portion of the Big Ten schedule with Minnesota (April 4-6).
