
U-M Set to Host Detroit Mercy for Senior Day Contest

Postgame Kicks presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield -- Kids 5th grade and under are invited to take a penalty kick following the conclusion of the game.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team (3-0-1) will welcome Detroit Mercy to U-M Soccer Stadium on Friday (Sept. 6) at 7 p.m. The match will be streamed live on B1G+. Prior to the match, the Wolverines will honor its 10-member senior class.

• Bryce Blevins, Jason Bucknor, Hayden Evans,Charlie Lawrence, Michael Leonstrong>, Pierre Lurot, Quin Rogers, Beto Soto, Ethan Wood and Uriel Zeitz will receive recognition before the match for their contributions to the program.
• Michigan is undefeated through four matches (3-0-1) for the first time since 2017 when it clinched the Big Ten regular-season and tournament crowns. The lone tie came against No. 19 Oregon State by a score of 1-1 on Aug. 30.
• Lawrence leads the team with two goals after scoring against Bowling Green on Monday (Sept. 2) to secure the 2-0 victory.
• Blevins and Soto share the squad lead in assists with two each. Blevins tallied one helper in each of the past two matches, assisting Soto's score against Oregon State and Lawrence's marker against Bowling Green.
• Isaiah Goldson started both matches over the weekend, tallying nine total saves while allowing just one goal. For the season, Goldson boasts 12 stops and has saved more than 92 percent of the shots on target he has faced.
• The trio of Will Baker, Matthew Fisher and Nolan Miller have started all four matches on defense for the Maize and Blue. The defense has surrendered just two goals in four contests, averaging 0.5 goals allowed per game.
• Oliver Martin scored his first career goal in the win over Bowling Green, marking the fifth different goal scorer for Michigan this season.
• U-M will face Detroit Mercy for the 20th time in program history. Last time out, the Wolverines downed the Titans 2-1 at U-M Soccer Stadium in 2022.
