
Turri Tabbed as Michigan Assistant Coach

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's lacrosse head coach Kevin Conry announced Monday (June 11) the hiring of Justin Turri as assistant coach.
Turri joins the Wolverine staff after spending the past season as the offensive coordinator at Harvard, where he guided a Crimson offensive unit that featured All-American and All-Ivy League performer Morgan Cheek.
"We are thrilled to welcome Justin to Michigan," said Conry of Turri's appointment. "Justin has an outstanding track record of success and is a true up and coming star in the coaching world."
Prior to his stint in Cambridge, he served as an assistant at Army West Point and worked with the team's faceoff, offense, and extra-man units. He spent the 2014 season at Providence College, where he assisted with the offense and extra-man units, as well as the substitution box and game day as well as film analysis.
The West Islip, New York, native was a four-year starter at Duke, and was twice named a USILA All-American, finishing his career with 70 goals and 52 assists (122 points). He helped lead the Blue Devils to the 2010 national championship, as well as ACC titles in 2009 and 2012, with the Blue Devils making the NCAA semifinals in all four years of his time in Durham.
He continues to craft his trade in Major League Lacrosse as a midfielder with the Boston Cannons, and was named the team's MVP for the 2017 season.
Turri, an Academic All-ACC honoree during his time at Duke, earned a degree in economics, and a Master's degree in business prior to spending two years as a sports finance analyst.
