ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Senior Kyle Jackson of the University of Michigan men's lacrosse team has been named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his five-goal performance in U-M's 10-7 win over Delaware on Feb. 27.
Jackson, a Sarnia, Ontario, native, had five goals on seven shots and collected five ground balls in U-M's second win of the season in the Orange County Winter Invitational in Costa Mesa, California. Michigan trailed 5-4 at the half, but three markers in the second half from the crafty finisher aided in lifting the Wolverines to the win.
The honor is the third all-conference honor for Jackson in his career, as he was previously named ECAC Rookie of the Week and ECAC Player of the Week during the 2013-14 season.
Jackson and the rest of the Wolverines return to action Saturday (March 5) at 1 p.m., playing host to the Vermont Catamounts inside Michigan Stadium.
