ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's lacrosse team, entering its fifth season of varsity competition, announced its 2015 fall slate on Tuesday (Sept. 29). The squad will take on the Robert Morris Colonials Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. from Oosterbaan Field House. The fall season will culminate on Saturday, Oct. 24, with a matchup against the Bellarmine Knights inside Michigan Stadium, at a time to be determined.
The Wolverines and Colonials last met on April 26, 2014, when U-M downed RMU by a 19-10 count inside Michigan Stadium. Michigan defeated the Knights, 16-9, on Feb. 7 last season in Ann Arbor.
U-M returns nearly 75 percent of its offense from a year ago, including leading scorer in junior Ian King, as well as the program's all-time leading scorer in senior Kyle Jackson. Senior/junior goaltender Gerald Logan, a three-year starter, also returns in goal to lead the defense.
