• This marks Michigan's first Big Ten victory in the first home conference game.
• U-M improves to 6-14 in white jerseys.
• Ian King, who missed the last four games due to injury, has now scored at least a point 18 straight games played dating back to March 1, 2014. He has totaled 39 goals over that span and nine assists for 49 points.
• The five wins this season tie the mark for the most in program history, a tally that was previously achieved last season.
• With the four goals, King regains the team lead in goals with 16.
• Freshman face-off specialist Mike McDonnell earned his first career point with an assist at the 1:38 mark of the third quarter (Ian King goal).
• The hat tricks for King and Kyle Jackson give U-M 10 on the season.
• U-M turned the ball over a season-low seven times.
