This marks Michigan's first Big Ten victory in the first home conference game.

Ian King, who missed the last four games due to injury, has now scored at least a point 18 straight games played dating back to March 1, 2014. He has totaled 39 goals over that span and nine assists for 49 points.
The five wins this season tie the mark for the most in program history, a tally that was previously achieved last season.
With the four goals, King regains the team lead in goals with 16.
Freshman face-off specialist Mike McDonnell earned his first career point with an assist at the 1:38 mark of the third quarter (Ian King goal).
The hat tricks for King and Kyle Jackson give U-M 10 on the season.
