Ian King has now scored at least a point in 20 consecutive games, a streak that began on March 1, 2014, against Johns Hopkins. King has notched 40 goals and 11 helpers for 51 points over that span and has been held scoreless in a contest only once in his career (vs. Johns Hopkins on Feb. 22, 2014).
The goal for David Joseph in the opening minutes was his first in the last four games. He now has seven scores on the season.
Michigan falls to 0-4 all-time vs. Johns Hopkins and 2-14 all-time in blue jerseys.
U-M was called for six penalties, which ties for its second-highest mark of the season (nine vs. Jacksonville, six versus Canisius).
Seven of U-M's nine goals were of the unassisted variety.
