The contest puts an end to U-M's four-game season-opening homestand. U-M went 3-1 on the longest home stretch in school history.
Michigan now heads on spring break. The team is 2-5 all-time over the spring-break stretch, with wins coming against Mercer during the 2012 campaign and against Furman last season.
Senior Andrew Mosko recorded his third career goal, while the appearance for Tommy Heidt was the first of his career.
Michigan is now 1-0 against Canisius in the all-time series.
Michigan moves to 5-12 all-time in white jerseys.
This marked the first time Michigan has used three goalies in a game.
