• U-M honored its seven departing seniors prior to the contest in Doug Bryant, Thomas Paras, Dakota Sherman, Tom Sardelli, Jeff Chu, JD Johnson and Bobby Riso.
• With five goals, Kyle Jackson recorded Michigan's ninth hat trick on the season. The three from Paras and King were the 10th and 11 of the season.
• The 12 first-half goals are the most Michigan has scored in a half this season.
• With hat tricks from Jackson, King, and Paras, this marked the second game this season that Michigan has recorded two hat tricks in a single game and first time that Michigan has had three hat tricks in a single game.
• Andrew Roswell scored his first career goal.
• Michigan improves to 4-9 all-time when wearing Maize jerseys.
• Charlie McPeters and Andrew Simor made their first career appearances.
