U-M honored its seven departing seniors prior to the contest in Doug Bryant, Thomas Paras, Dakota Sherman, Tom Sardelli, Jeff Chu, JD Johnson and Bobby Riso.
With five goals, Kyle Jackson recorded Michigan's ninth hat trick on the season. The three from Paras and King were the 10th and 11 of the season.
The 12 first-half goals are the most Michigan has scored in a half this season.
With hat tricks from Jackson, King, and Paras, this marked the second game this season that Michigan has recorded two hat tricks in a single game and first time that Michigan has had three hat tricks in a single game.
Andrew Roswell scored his first career goal.
Michigan improves to 4-9 all-time when wearing Maize jerseys.
Charlie McPeters and Andrew Simor made their first career appearances.
