Nine Home Games, B1G Matchups Featured in 2015 Schedule

• 2015 U-M Men's Lacrosse Schedule
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's lacrosse team announced its 2015 schedule today (Wednesday, Oct. 1). This season's slate features 13 contests, nine at home and four on the road, along with five Big Ten Conference matchups in the league's first season of men's lacrosse.
The Wolverines will open up the 2015 campaign with four matchups indoors at Oosterbaan Field House, beginning with a tilt against former ECAC opponent Bellarmine on Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. The matchup with the Knights will be followed a week later with a contest against the Detroit Titans on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. U-M will close out the month of February with games against 2014 NCAA finalist Notre Dame on Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. and Canisius on Feb. 28 at 1 p.m.
Following a spring break road matchup against Jacksonville on March 3 at 7 p.m., U-M will host Brown on March 8 at 3 p.m. inside Michigan Stadium and then travel to Philadelphia six days later to take on St. Joseph's at 1 p.m. on March 14. The Maize and Blue will conclude its non-conference slate against another NCAA participant from a year ago in the Drexel Dragons on March 21 at 1 p.m. from the Big House.
The Big Ten schedule will feature Michigan hosting Rutgers, Ohio State and Penn State at Michigan Stadium. U-M will face Maryland in College Park on the Big Ten Network for the first time in program history and venture to Johns Hopkins for the fourth straight season. Dates and times for the Big Ten matchups will be determined at a later date.
The Big Ten Men's Lacrosse Tournament, hosted by the University of Maryland, will feature a four-team field. The two semifinal matches will be contested on Thursday, April 30, and the championship game will be played on Saturday, May 2.
U-M's 2015 opponents totaled a combined record 101-76 a year ago.
