Reichenbach, a co-captain of the 1999 Maize and Blue squad, has been the backbone of the Michigan defense for four years and is an All-America candidate. Her stellar play helped the Wolverines to a third-place finish in the Big Ten regular season and a No. 8 national ranking. Reichenbach has started every game over the last two years for the Wolverines and has scored two goals this season, including the game-winner against No. 3 Iowa (Oct. 8). Last season, Reichenbach was named second team All-Big Ten while earning first-team West Region All-America honors.
Reid and Gannon led Michigan in scoring with 34 and 30 points, respectively, ranking fifth and seventh in the conference in scoring, while Widder quietly became one of the nation's top midfielders.
Michigan opens up Big Ten Tournament play Friday (Nov. 5) against Northwestern in the first round. If the Wolverines advance, they will face second-seeded Penn State in semifinal action Saturday (Nov. 6) at 2 p.m. The Maize and Blue finished the regular season with a 14-6 overall record (7-3 Big Ten).
