
Michigan to Welcome Central Michigan, No. 14 Colorado to U-M Lacrosse Stadium

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 8-ranked University of Michigan women's lacrosse team (3-2) welcomes a pair of opponents to U-M Lacrosse Stadium this weekend. The Wolverines first welcome Central Michigan (0-5) on Friday (March 6) at 4 p.m. before taking on No. 14 Colorado (4-1) on Sunday (March 8) at 1 p.m. Both games will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan is ranked No. 8 in the latest IWLCA poll after falling to No. 16 Yale in its home opener (Feb. 28). The Wolverines take on their fifth ranked opponent in No. 14 Colorado and hold a 2-2 overall record against ranked teams this season.
• Junior Emma Bradbury leads Michigan with 20 points. Bradbury has scored a team-best 15 goals, with three straight hat tricks and a career-best nine points with six goals and three assists against South Florida. Most recently, Bradbury scored three goals and had one assist against Yale.
• The senior trio of Grace Callahan, Taylor Cullen and Jordyn Harrison has been holding down the defensive end of the field, combining for 21 caused turnovers and 23 ground balls. Harrison leads the team with nine caused turnovers, including four against Yale and two against Boston College, while Callahan and Cullen have nine ground balls each.
• Freshman Elizabeth Johnson picked up her second conference award over the season's first three weeks, being named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 24 after Michigan defeated then-No. 6 Boston College. Johnson recorded her second career double-digit-save effort with 12 stops against the high-powered Eagles. She made three saves in the overtime periods to help Michigan to the sudden-victory win. Johnson was also named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Feb 10 after she made her collegiate debut in goal against No. 25 Notre Dame, stopping 15 shots to rank fourth all-time in Michigan single-game history. Johnson made eight saves, four in each quarter, in the first half and added two ground balls to her stat line.
• Bradbury was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and the USA Lacrosse Magazine Player of the Week on Feb. 17 after pacing Michigan to two wins in the Sunshine State, including a win over No. 5 Florida. Bradbury scored eight goals in two games, while adding three assists for a total of 11 points on the week. She recorded a career-best nine points against USF, scoring a career-high six goals against the Bulls. She also put all seven of her shots on cage and had one caused turnover. Bradbury helped lead Michigan past Florida to start the week, scoring two goals on four shots.
• Graduate student Ava Class and senior Grace Callahan were named to the 2026 Tewaaraton Watch List on Feb. 10. Callahan earned a spot on the list for the second straight season, while it is the first appearance for Class. Callahan ranks fifth all-time with 61 career caused turnovers and third all-time with 95 career ground balls. Class has 64 career points, with 48 goals and 16 assists.
• Michigan next will travel to Los Angeles, Calif., to open Big Ten play against USC on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m. PT.
