Senior outfielder Indiana Langford, sophomore outfielder Lauren Putz and junior RHP Erin Hoehn all went 6-for-9 and added two free passes for matching .727 on-base percentages over the series. The trio, who make up three of Michigan's first four in the lineup, combined for 16 runs scored and 11 RBI.
• With a .431 batting average through 34 games this season, Hoehn boasts an incredible 222-point improvement over her previous career best (.222). She owns career highs in every offensive category and ranks third on the team in batting average, slugging percentage (.708) and on-base percentage (.473).
• Hoehn also posted a 2-0 record against the Boilermakers from the circle, including a complete-game effort on Friday when she held the Boilermakers to one unearned run on four hits and two walks, with four strikeouts from the circle.
• Langford has successfully reached base in all 19 games since returning to the Wolverines' lineup at the start of the Wolverines' spring break trip after her early-season finger injury. Langford ranks second on the team with a .435 batting average -- a 29-point improvement on her team-high .406 average last season -- and a .551 on-base percentage from the leadoff spot.
• Putz ranks top-20 nationally in several offensive categories, listing 16th in on-base percentage (.581) and walks per game (.88), 17th in slugging percentage (.989) and 20th in RBI (46).
