ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team (7-4-5, 5-4-2 Big Ten) will close out the Big Ten regular season on Friday (Oct. 30) when it hosts No. 3 Ohio State at U-M Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and the match will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• Elle Ervin scored twice in the second half against Penn State, finding the back of the net on two of her three shots. All three of her attempts were on goal.
• With an assist on U-M's first goal against Penn State, Lilley Bosley extended her point streak to six consecutive matches. Over that stretch, Bosley has tallied five goals and two assists.
• A memorable two-match stretch saw Anabelle Egeland face off against her sister, Ellie Egeland of Maryland, on Thursday (Oct. 22) before recording her first career point with an assist on Ervin's goal against Penn State on Sunday (Oct. 25).
• In Michigan's 1-1 draw against Maryland, freshman Melisa Kekic netted her first official collegiate goal. Kekic previously recorded a hat trick against Xavier in a match that was ultimately ruled a no-contest.
• Anchoring the Maize and Blue backline, Ellie Fife played all 180 minutes in a pair of Big Ten draws against Maryland and Penn State. Fife helped limit the two opponents to a combined 17 shots, including just four on goal.
• Sitting atop the Big Ten standings, Ohio State enters the matchup with a 10-1 conference record. The Buckeyes have also posted a 4-1 record on the road this season.
• In the all-time series between U-M and OSU, the two programs are deadlocked at 15-15-7.
• Heading into the matchup, the Wolverines sit in eighth place in the Big Ten standings with 17 points in conference play.
