Charlie Swanson earned his second medal in as many days as the U.S. men took silver in the 4x100-meter medley relay. Swanson took home the medal after a solid swim in the breaststroke leg in the preliminaries with a split of 59.73. Maggie MacNeil and Canada finished fourth in the women's 4x100-meter medley relay with a time of 3:53.91. » Full update
Water Polo
Former Wolverine Abby Andrews and Team Australia finished group play undefeated with a 14-12 penalty shootout win over Hungary. Andrews scored for the fourth straight game and converted on a penalty shot to help the Stingers to a 4-0 record in Paris. » Full update

Senior hurdler Savannah Sutherland will head to the 400-meter hurdle semifinals on Aug. 6 after a solid first round. Sutherland finished third in her heat and 12th overall with a time of 54.80. » Full update
Women's Volleyball
The USA women's volleyball team swept the host nation France in three sets in the final game of pool play. After two hard-fought sets both won, 29-27, Team USA was in control in the third and final set winning 25-20. With the win, the United States have qualified for a spot in the quarterfinals on Tuesday (Aug. 6) with time and opponent to be announced later today. » Full update

Syla Swords played 19 minutes off the bench for Canada, going plus-1 with four points, two rebounds and two assists in a 79-70 loss to Nigeria to end their Olympic journey. » Full update
