
Michigan to Host No. 9 Denver for Senior Night at Crisler Center

• Senior Day -- Be sure to remain in your seats after the conclusion of competition as the Michigan women's gymnastics senior class will be honored on the floor following the meet.
• Student Sunglasses Giveaway -- The first 400 Michigan students in attendance will receive a free pair of Michigan sunglasses.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team (10-5) concludes the 2024 regular season Friday (March 15) at 6:45 p.m. when it welcomes No. 9 Denver (18-2) to Crisler Center for a meet that honors Michigan's seven-gymnast senior class. The meet will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• The Wolverines head into week 11 ranked No. 10 nationally and rank inside the top-15 in all four events. Michigan ranks fifth on floor exercise, 10th on balance beam, 13th on uneven bars and 14th on vault.
• Individually, Sierra Brooks ranks in the top 10 nationally on floor (fifth) and all-around (ninth), while ranking 14th on uneven bars, 15th on beam and 21st on vault. Gabby Wilson also ranks inside the top 25 as she is fifth on floor and 17th in the all-around, while Carly Bauman ranks 19th on the uneven bars.
• Michigan will recognize the careers of seven gymnasts following its meet against Denver. The Wolverines will first recognize the illustrious careers of Sierra Brooks and Gabby Wilson, who returned for their fifth years, and also will honor McCaleigh Marr, who transferred from Penn, Carly Bauman, Reyna Guggino, Naomi Morrison and Jenna Mulligan. This year's senior class was part of the 2021 national championship team, while helping the Wolverines to two Big Ten regular-season championships and two Big Ten championships.
• Wilson was named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week for the second time this season after winning the all-around against No. 20 Georgia. She recorded a 39.500 in the all-around title win, while also scoring a near perfect 9.975 on floor to take home the title. The Ypsilanti, Mich., native recorded her 100th career routine of 9.990 or better, scoring a 9.925 on the uneven bars with a stuck landing.
