The No. 12-ranked University of Michigan women's lacrosse team (5-1) will play two games this weekend, first traveling to Cincinnati (3-4) on Friday (March 13) for a 4 p.m. contest before returning home to Ann Arbor for a 1 p.m. contest against No. 16 Denver (6-1) on Sunday (March 15) at U-M Lacrosse Stadium. Fridays's game will be streamed live on Bearcats TV, while Sunday's matchup will be streamed live on BTN Plus.
A Look at Cincinnati
• Michigan and Cincinnati perviously have met one time, playing an indoor game in Brighton, Michigan, during the 2019 season with the Wolverines earning a 19-9 victory.
• The Bearcats are 3-4 overall on the season, scoring 88 goals while allowing 104 goals.
• Monica Borzillo has led Cincinnati in multiple offensive categories this season with a team-best 31 points (18 goals, 13 assists).
• Two other Bearcats have reached double-digit points this season with Peyton Mottice coming into the contest with 21 and Alyssa Adams adding 15.
• Mottice leads the team on the draw with 18 wins and Dani Mlkvy has 17 wins.
• In goal, Kate Brocato has started five games with 30 saves and a .313 save percentage.
Scouting No. 16 Denver
• Michigan and Denver will meet for the third time with both teams earning a victory in 2019.
• U-M won the regular-season contest over Denver before the Pioneers knocked Michigan out of the NCAA Tournament with a second-round win in Ann Arbor.
• Denver comes into Sunday's contest with a 6-1 overall record with its only loss coming to Vanderbilt, which U-M defeated, 20-13, on March 4.
• Quintin Hoch-Bullen leads the Pioneer offensive charge with a team-best 36 points, while Bea Behrins has 30 points.
• Defensively, three Pioneers have 10 caused turnovers or more this season and nine have five or more.
• In goal, Carson Gregg has started all seven games with 46 saves and an 8.74 goals-against average.
Back In Action
• After taking a week away from the field, Michigan will head to Cincinnati for a Friday afternoon matchup before returning to Ann Arbor for a Sunday afternoon against No. 16 Debnver -- its third ranked opponent this season.
• The Wolverines are 2-1 on the road the season and 3-0 at U-M Lacrosse Stadium.
• U-M last took to the field Wednesday, March 4 for a spring-break contest against Vanderbilt and recorded the program's sixth 20-goal game.
U-M through the First Six Games
• The Wolverines are 5-1 to start the 2020 campaign and are 3-0 at U-M Lacrosse Stadium.
• Michigan has outscored its opponents, 85-60, over its first six games, recording two games with 20 goals or more.
• U-M is averaging 14.2 goals per game, while opponents are scoring 10 goals per game, taking 153 shots compared to Michigan's 209 total shots.
• The Wolverines have six players with double-digit points as Caitlin Muir has a team-best 27 points with a team-high 16 goals and 11 assists.
• Senior Molly Garrett and junior Maggie Kane have been key on the draw with 26 wins each, while Kaitlyn Mead has nine for the Maize and Blue.

Hat Tricks A Plenty
• Michigan has seen 14 hat tricks in five games with four players recording two or more this season.
• Juniors Caitlin Muir and Maggie Kane along with sophomore Kaitlyn Mead all have tallied three hat tricks this season with Muir being on a three-game streak with three goals or more.
• Senior Molly Garrett has two hat tricks, including a four-goal performance against Vanderbilt.
• Chandler Kirby, Erin Garvey and Kaley Thompson have all notched one hat trick each with Kirby scoring a career-best five goals at Vanderbilt.
Kirby's Career Performance at Vandy
• Senior Chandler Kirby stood out at Vanderbilt, scoring one-fourth of Michigan's goals, while having a hand in six goals.
• Kirby netted a career-high five goals against the Commodores, capitalizing on two free-position attempts.
• The senior midfielder also added an assist on Kaitlyn Mead's goal in the second half for a career-best six points.
• This season, Kirby is tied for second on the team with 14 points (10 goals, four assists) through six games.
