Inclement Weather Forces Suspension of Friday's Game at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Heavy rain in the bottom of the eighth inning forced the suspension of the University of Michigan baseball team's second game of its three-game set at Purdue on Friday (May 18) at Alexander Field.
The game will resume on Saturday (May 19) at 1 p.m. at Alexander Field. The series finale will follow, beginning one hour after the end of the suspended game. Both games will be live streamed via BTN2Go, and the series finale will air on the Big Ten Network.
Purdue leads the contest, 6-3, in the bottom of the eighth inning with two outs and a Boilermaker baserunner on second base. Michigan pitcher William Tribucher will return to the mound with a 1-0 count on Purdue's Jacson McGowan.
