ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- With collegiate summer baseball leagues underway, the University of Michigan is well represented across many leagues throughout the country. Wolverines from each academic class will be working to hone their skills in preparation for the upcoming fall and 2017 season. Here is a list of each player along with their summer ball placement as well as key performances they've had. This page will be updated throughout the summer.
Jack Bredeson, Lake Erie Monarchs
Great Lakes League | Team Stats
• July 14, 2016 -- Pitched two scoreless innings while recording a summer-high four strikeouts in a 16-3 win.
• June 23, 2016 -- Pitched 2.2 innings with one strikeout and no earned runs.
• June 16, 2016 -- Bredeson tosses a summer-high three complete innings, allowing just one run on two hits with a strikeout.
• June 14, 2016 -- The righty tosses a scoreless inning of work in a loss to the Jazz, walking one but facing the minimum three batters.
• June 7, 2016 -- Bredeson makes his first relief appearance with the Monarchs, tossing two complete innings and striking out two.
Jonathan Engelmann, Wareham Gatemen
Cape Cod League | Team Stats
• July 8, 2016 -- Came off the bench and recorded a stolen base and scored a run.
• June 26, 2016 -- Engelmann scores the eventual game-winning run in a 9-8 victory over Brewster after going 1-for-3 with two walks in the contest.
• June 15, 2016 -- With two singles in four at-bats, Engelmann records his first multi-hit outing of the season.
• June 10, 2016 -- Engelmann makes his appearance with the Gatemen, picking up his first hit of the season in a 6-3 victory over Yarmouth-Dennis.

Cape Cod League | Team Stats
• August 13, 2016 -- Jaskie's team, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, win the Cape Cod League Championship for the third year in a row. Jaskie finishes the summer with a 1.88 ERA in 38.1 innings pitched.
• August 5, 2016 -- Was the winning pitcher, striking out 5, allowing 0 ER (1 R) in 6.2 innings pitched.
• July 24, 2016 -- Tossed 5.2 innings, and recorded seven strikeouts in a 3-0 win.
• July 16, 2016 -- Picked up his second win and quality start in a row, throwing six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts and just three hits.
• July 9, 2016 -- Recorded his first win, throwing six scoreless innings with one strikeout in a 3-1 victory.
• July 2, 2016 -- In his first start of the season, Jaskie tosses 4.2 innings, allowing just one run on four hits and striking out four.
• June 28, 2016 -- Jaskie makes his first appearance of the summer, tossing one inning of relief and allowing just one hit with two strikeouts.

Prospect League | Team Stats
• August 5, 2016 -- Allowed just one hit and struck out 10 in 7.2 innings of work, while picking up the win in a 2-0 victory.
• July 26, 2016 -- Pitched one scoreless inning, striking out one and faced the minimum.
• June 17, 2016 -- Tossed 3.1 innings, allowing just one run on three strikeouts.
• June 9, 2016 -- Karcher makes his first start of the season, tossing five complete innings and surrendering just one earned run on two hits. He strikes out a season-high seven batters in the outing.
• June 2, 2016 -- Tossing three full innings of relief and allowing just one hit with three strikeouts, Karcher makes his first appearance of the summer.

• July 17, 2016 -- Finished the first half of the summer season on a six-game hitting streak.
• July 16, 2016 -- Recorded his 10th multi-hit game this summer going 2-5 with a run.
• July 15, 2016 -- Recorded his third-consecutive multi-RBI game with a double that knocked in two runs.
• July 14, 2016 -- Kerr raised his OPS over .750 with a 2-2 outing, tallying a double and three RBI.
• July 5, 2016 -- Went 2-5 with an RBI in a 7-3 victory.
• July 1, 2016 -- Went 2-5 with a run and an RBI in a 8-5 victory.
• June 30, 2016 -- Kerr goes 2-for-4 with his first homer of the season, knocking in the team's only runs in a 2-1 victory over the Mariners.
• June 11, 2016 -- Going 1-for-3 with two walks, Kerr picks up his first triple of the season.
• June 5, 2016 -- Kerr makes his first appearance of the summer as his team's leadoff hitter, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI.

Cape Cod League | Team Stats
• July 26, 2016 -- Went 2-3 with a double and a run scored.
• July 23, 2016 -- Participated in the Cape Cod Homerun Hitting Contest.
• July 21, 2016 -- Went 2-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
• July 17, 2016 -- Recorded his second two-hit game of the summer, going 2-4.
• July 15, 2016 -- Hit a two-run homer in a 5-3 victory, his second homerun of the summer.
• July 4, 2016 -- Lugbauer blasts his first homer of the season - a solo shot.
• June 16, 2016 -- In his first multi-hit game of the season, Lugbauer ties the game with an RBI single in the seventh inning as his team goes on to secure a 6-5 victory.
• June 10, 2016 -- Lugbauer makes his first appearance of the summer at first base and picks up his first hit of the season in a 9-4 victory over Brewster.

• July 30, 2016 -- Threw six strong innings, allowing just two runs while striking out three in a 7-3 victory.
• July 27, 2016 -- Recorded his second save of the summer throwing a 1-2-3 inning and striking out two.
• July 21, 2016 -- Recorded his first win of the summer, throwing five innings and striking out four.
• July 14, 2016 -- Pitched 1.2 scoreless innings while striking out two.

Cape Cod League | Team Stats
• August 13, 2015 -- Pall's team, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, win the Cape Cod League Championship for the third year in a row. Pall finished the summer with a 0.69 ERA in 13 innings pitched and a 10.4 K/9 rate.
• July 23, 2016 -- Selected to represent East in the Cape Cod League All-Star Game.
• July 12, 2016 -- Tossed 1.1 scoreless innings to earn his first win of the summer.
• July 5-9, 2016 -- Recorded three saves in three consecutive appearances.
• July 2, 2016 -- Picked up a save while striking out two in a 3-1 victory.

Johnny Slater, Sanford Mariners
New England Collegiate Baseball League | Team Stats
• August 8, 2016 -- Went 3-6 with a run scored in a 11-4 victory.
• August 4, 2016 -- As a part of his two-hit day, Slater recorded his second triple of the summer in a 12-2 victory.
• July 30-31, 2016 - Collected five RBI over the span of two games, going 3-8 during that stretch.
• July 29, 2016 -- Hit his first triple of the summer, and later scored in a 9-8 victory.
• July 27, 2016 -- In his third pitching appearance of the summer, Slater collected his first win, throwing one inning and striking out one.
• July 26, 2016 -- Went 2-4 with three runs and a walk.
• July 21, 2016 -- Had his first multi-hit game of the summer, going 2-4 with a run and an RBI.

• July 24, 2016 -- Tossed seven shutout innings and struck out five as the winning pitcher in a 6-0 victory.
• July 13, 2016 -- Threw a summer single-game high seven innings, striking out four in a 2-1 victory.
• July 6, 2016 -- Earned his fourth win of the season in a five-inning performance.
• June 29, 2016 -- Vancena makes his second start, tossing a season-high 6.2 innings and walking a season-high four batters while allowing just five hits.
• June 12, 2016 -- In 2.2 innings of relief, Vancena picks up his first win of the summer after striking out three and surrendering just two hits.
• June 7, 2016 -- Vancena makes his first appearance of the season, tossing one complete inning and striking out two in the team's 7-0 victory over Mankato.

• June 28, 2016 -- Going 1-for-3 on the day, Wenson picks up his first double of the season and scores the team's only run in a 1-0 victory over Chatham.
